Celebrating Tradition: Ana G. Méndez University Hosts Its First Christmas Festival on Three Kings Eve

Ana G. Méndez University is thrilled to announce its first-ever Christmas Festival, an event dedicated to celebrating one of the most cherished traditions in our community: the Eve of Three Kings Day. Scheduled for January 5, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the festival promises to be an unforgettable experience filled with joy, culture, and community spirit.

Festival navideño event postponed due to weather conditions

We wish to inform our Ana G. Mendez University community that, due to the escalating weather conditions across Florida, the Festival Navideño events scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, December 16th, at the Metro Orlando, Tampa Bay, and South Florida campuses will be postponed. The new date for these events is set for January 5th, 2024.

We urge our students, staff, and professors to prioritize safety during the inclement weather.

Public notice of upcoming ACEN visit, South Florida Campus

Ana G. Méndez University (AGMU) wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for initial accreditation of its ASN, BSN, MSN-FNP and DNP nursing programs by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 2:00pm on January 31, 2024, at South Florida Campus located at 15201 NW 79th Ct. Miami Lakes, FL 33016.

In an event held on December 6th in Tallahassee, representatives from Ana G. Méndez University made a significant impact on the dialogue surrounding higher education in Florida. The primary objective of this event was to facilitate discussions between representatives, senators, and students from private colleges and universities in the state.

Ana G. Méndez University nominated for "Awards of Excellence" by HAPBWA

HAPBWA – Hispanic American Professional and Business Women Association - presented the "Awards of Excellence" on Tuesday, November 28th. Ana G. Méndez University was honored to be nominated as an Organization of Excellence.

It was an honor to be represented at the excellent gala and event by Metro Orlando Campus Director Suheily Martinez and Glorivette Perez, Dean of Administration and Academic Division of Science and Technology. Our support continues in the Hispanic community and for Latina women entrepreneurs.

Ana G. Méndez University invites Coast Guard group to the Orlando Magic

On Wednesday, November 29th, Ana G. Méndez University donated a very special experience to a group of Coast Guard in celebration of "Seats for Soldiers" - during the Orlando Magic v. Wizards game.

We are very proud that Ana G. Méndez University is the official Hispanic university of the Orlando Magic and to be able to support them in these important initiatives for our community.

Lots to Be Thankful For!

Ana G. Méndez University South Florida Campus hosted a Thanksgiving Food Drive with the generosity of CanoHealth and in collaboration with Doral Family Journal.

We were able to impact more than 200 persons from the community, especially seniors from Miami Lakes, Doral, and surrounding areas.

Joining us today and showing their support were Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid, Fred Senra President of the Miami Lakes Chamber , Tico Casamayor Public relations from the Miami Lakes Chamber, Pedro Fiallo from the American Legion and Doral Councilwoman Maureen Porras.

AGM University present at VA/Military College Education Fair

On the 7th of November, AGM University received a special invitation to participate in a college education fair organized by Mr. Polanco, the Education Services Specialist at the US Army Garrison. This event served as a valuable opportunity for AGM University to connect with the military community, showcasing our academic offerings and presenting tailored approaches to studying while in active service and for veterans.
