Ana G. Méndez University Miami Lakes Campus held an educational panel and a walk as part of its breast cancer awareness activities.
During the panel, health professionals and members of the university community shared information about the importance of prevention, early detection methods, and available resources for patients and families.

The event concluded with a symbolic walk across the campus to promote awareness of the importance of early detection.

Staff members at Ana G. Méndez University Metro Orlando Campus participated in a training session on international students, led by Sebastián Alarcón, Director of International Affairs, with the participation of Rafael Nadal Bosch, Assistant Vice President of International Affairs.

The presentation reviewed key academic and administrative processes that support the experience of international students, as well as the services available to help them integrate into the university environment.

The Latin Chamber of Commerce of the Gulf Coast paid a heartfelt tribute to Doña Ana G. Méndez, founder of our institution, by posthumously presenting her with the Woman Who Builds Award—a distinction that highlights her visionary legacy and the profound impact she made in higher education for thousands of Hispanic students in the United States and Puerto Rico.

At The SUMM 2025, Ana G. Méndez University became a hub for hundreds of students eager to build their future. It was a day filled with guidance, motivation, and inspiration, where every conversation opened the door to new academic and professional possibilities.

Participants had the opportunity to explore the careers and programs that could define their path, engaging in experiences connected to the professions they aspire to pursue. More than information, they received personalized guidance and encouragement—an essential boost to move forward with confidence in their goals.

Ana G. Méndez University proudly celebrates the participation of Dr. Viviana Barrabia Terrero, Director of our Tampa Bay campus, as a panelist at the 31st Anniversary Gala of the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce.

Under the theme “The American Dream – Voices that Inspire,” Dr. Barrabia shared her vision and experience, highlighting the fundamental role of higher education in building opportunities and strengthening leadership within the Latino community.

Ana G. Méndez University participated in Hispanic Women of Distinction 2025, held in Fort Lauderdale, where outstanding Hispanic leaders were honored for their achievements and contributions to the community.
