1. Who can participate in the graduation ceremony?
    Students who have completed all academic requirements of their program, have no outstanding financial obligations, and submit the graduation application on or before February 28, 2026. Late applications do not guarantee ceremony access, although certifications will still be issued.

     

  2. How do I confirm my participation in the ceremony?
    Submit the graduation application on or before February 28, 2026, indicating that you will attend the ceremonies.

     

  3. What is the date, time, and location of the ceremony?

  4. How many guests can I bring?
    Each graduate may bring two guests. No additional tickets will be provided.

     

  5. Is attendance mandatory to receive my diploma?
    No, but completing the graduation application is required to receive your diploma.

     

  6. Where and when do I pick up my gown?
    Official instructions will be provided in a separate communication. Distribution dates:
  • May 18–22, 2026: Orlando, South Florida, and Tampa Bay campuses
  • May 16, 2026: Online Spanish program
  • Online English program: shipped by mail
    Doctoral students: Contact Gaspard and Son and complete gown payment. AGMU will only provide the doctoral hood for the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony on June 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Oceana Ballroom, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Orlando, FL.

     

  1. What should I bring on graduation day?
    Complete academic regalia (gown, cap, and tassel), a valid photo ID, and arrive with sufficient time according to prior instructions.

     

  2. Is there a dress code?
    Yes. Formal attire under the gown and comfortable shoes are recommended. Avoid very high or uncomfortable heels.

     

  3. When will I receive my diploma?
    Diplomas will be mailed once all academic and administrative requirements have been verified.

     

  4. What happens if I have an outstanding balance?
    All balances must be cleared by the deadline to participate in the ceremony and receive the diploma.

     

  5. Can I take photos during the ceremony?
    Official photographers will be present. Guests are advised to remain seated to avoid disrupting the ceremony.

     

  6. What should I do if I require accommodations?
    Request accommodations in the graduation application. The Office of Student Affairs will contact you for additional information if needed.
