Ana G. Méndez University reaffirms internationalization as an institutional priority. The concept of internationalization in higher education institutions has evolved throughout the history of higher education. The process of globalization itself has led universities to promote the exchange of students, faculty, and administrators beyond national borders. 

As part of this process, the Vice Presidency of International Affairs has representation on each campus to strengthen and support international initiatives within the university community.
